The compressor runs only when needed to maintain internal pressure and has an auto shut off when not in use. The compressor works without oil and the quality of air delivered conforms to all relevant legislation regarding breathable air.Safety Note: When using a Surface Supplied Diving Apparatus (SSBA) you are still breathing compressed air.
