PADI EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY CARE TRAINING

Emergency training First Response® in primary and secondary care prepares you to act in critical moments between a life-threatening emergency and the arrival of emergency medical services.

You will learn to perform CPR, provide first aid for pain relief, assess various injuries and illnesses, and practice bandaging and splinting techniques.

Academic

The course combines online learning with classroom training, allowing you to progress at your own pace. With it, you will be able to improve your CPR and first aid skills and be prepared for emergency situations.

During the course, you will learn how to respond to different illnesses and injuries, how to help someone who is drowning, how to manage possible spinal injuries, and how to apply bandages and splint.

Phase 1. PADI eLearning® (online classes)

In this phase, you will complete the theoretical component through PADI eLearning®, allowing you to study at your own pace for approximately 2-4 hours. Connect with your instructor if you have questions. https://www.padi.com/courses/emergency-first-response-primary-and-secondary-care/

Phase 2. With your Instructor (training)

Here you will learn eight essential skills for helping others in emergencies, practicing CPR with a special mannequin, bandaging and splinting techniques, and applying your skills in role-play scenarios. No prerequisites are required, just the desire to help others.

This phase involves a total time commitment of approximately 4-8 hours, and there is no minimum age required.
